3 International Films that I really loved are:
-To Live (its chinese, beautiful, about forgiveness, and is very symbolic with its use of the color red, much like the "sixth sense's" use of red)
-Life is Beautiful (total waterworks but very meaningful)
-Mostly Martha (The original german version not the american "No Reservations" version is an interesting study on one woman's battle with OCD and expressing emotion)

A couple of other interesting foreign films are "the sea inside" it's about euthanasia, and "the motorcycle diaries" (which i actually own) it's about Che Guevara before he was a revolutionary. Just a thought :) I'm so excited about the culture club!

Ive have seen "the sea inside" it did raise the question about euthanasia and suicide. It would be so tough to live as quadriplegic, but I dont know if I would ever make that same decision. It was a sad film but one that made me value life more.
